Terms

Terms of Use

These terms govern access to the Marisonus website, analyzer workspace, demo upload flow, and any paid or trial access that is later made available through the product.

These terms are written around the product behavior currently implemented in this repository, including the live support/data request workflow, email verification, password reset, and manual billing cancellation/refund handling. Before paid public launch, the service operator name, invoicing entity, and formal legal contact details should be inserted to match the production business entity.

Key point

Upload rights are mandatory

You may only upload audio that you own or are authorized to submit for analysis.

Key point

Analyzer output is guidance

Marisonus provides technical and editorial feedback, not guarantees of commercial outcome or release acceptance.

Key point

Abuse can be blocked

We may suspend demo or account access to protect the platform, other users, or our infrastructure.

1. Scope of the service

Marisonus provides audio analysis tools, analyzer access flows, account features, plan controls, and related website content for music creators, engineers, and teams.

The service includes both authenticated workspaces and a limited demo upload flow. Features, limits, and access levels may change over time as the product evolves toward public launch.

2. Eligibility and account responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit, for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, and for all actions taken through your account or demo session.

You must use a secure password and must not share access in a way that bypasses plan limits, account controls, or internal security safeguards.

  • Do not impersonate another person or organization.
  • Do not attempt to obtain unauthorized access to another account, admin area, queue, storage layer, or API token.
  • Notify Marisonus promptly if you believe your credentials or upload session were compromised.

3. Upload permissions and user content

You retain ownership of the audio, metadata, and other material you submit. You grant Marisonus the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit, analyze, secure, and display that material for the purpose of delivering the service you requested.

You may only upload content if you own it or have the legal right to provide it for analysis. This includes copyright, neighboring rights, label permissions, client permissions, and any required performer or collaborator approvals.

  • No infringing, stolen, or unlawfully distributed material.
  • No malware, harmful payloads, or attempts to exploit the upload pipeline.
  • No content submitted in violation of confidentiality obligations, court orders, or contractual restrictions.

4. Demo access and consent-gated uploads

Anonymous or first-time visitors may be offered a limited analyzer session through the demo flow. Demo access requires explicit confirmation that you accept the governing legal documents and that you have the right to upload the audio.

Raw demo uploads are meant to be deleted after analysis completes or permanently fails. If Marisonus offers an optional checkbox allowing longer retention for service improvement or future reference-model development, that checkbox must remain optional and must not be treated as a condition of basic demo analysis access. Declining it must not block ordinary analysis.

5. Acceptable use restrictions

You may not use the service in a way that harms the platform, circumvents limits, or interferes with other users' access. Rate limits, upload caps, admin controls, and security monitoring are part of the service and may be enforced automatically.

  • No scraping, reverse engineering, or extraction of proprietary model, scoring, or commentary logic except where non-waivable law permits it.
  • No automated abuse of demo uploads, token issuance, account registration, or billing endpoints.
  • No attempts to benchmark, clone, or resell the service without written permission.

6. Analysis results and no-guarantee disclaimer

Marisonus is a decision-support product. Analysis results, summaries, scores, and recommendations are informational tools intended to help creative and technical review. They are not mastering certification, legal compliance advice, or a guarantee of streaming approval, label acceptance, or commercial performance.

You remain responsible for final listening decisions, release choices, rights clearance, and any commercial use of your music.

7. Plans, subscriptions, and future billing

Plan descriptions, usage limits, and workspace access may vary by tier. If or when paid plans are activated, the price, billing cadence, renewal terms, cancellation terms, and any tax handling will be shown at checkout or in the applicable order flow.

Until paid billing is formally enabled, demo access and current pre-launch account features are provided on the basis described in the product interface and these terms. Refund questions, billing support, and cancellation-at-period-end requests currently flow through the published support path rather than a self-service billing portal.

Unless applicable law requires otherwise or Marisonus confirms a billing error, refunds are reviewed case by case and cancellations are intended to stop a future renewal rather than unwind an already-started paid period.

8. Suspension, termination, and deletion

Marisonus may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe an account, demo session, or upload is abusive, unlawful, risky to platform security, or inconsistent with these terms.

You may stop using the service at any time. For signed-in workspace uploads, the original source audio is deleted after analysis finishes and only the derived analysis history remains in your account until you delete it, request broader account or data deletion through the support process on the contact page, or it ages out under the configured retention window.

9. Intellectual property in the service

The Marisonus product, interface, analysis presentation, documentation, branding, and service logic remain the property of Marisonus and its licensors, except for third-party materials owned by their respective holders.

These terms do not transfer ownership of the product or any internal scoring, calibration, or commentary system to you.

10. Service availability and operational changes

The service may be updated, limited, paused, or reconfigured for security, maintenance, capacity control, launch-readiness work, or infrastructure migration. We are not obligated to keep every feature or pre-launch flow available indefinitely.

11. Liability limits

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an as-available basis and Marisonus disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Marisonus will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising out of or related to your use of the service, even if we were advised that such damages were possible.

12. Related policies

The Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled. The Upload & Data Use Policy explains what happens to uploaded audio, temporary processing files, derived metrics, and optional improvement-consent material.
